No Excuses For Leaf's Poor Performance

Mike Babcock was not pleased with his team's performance.

Toronto Maple Leaf's head coach, Mike Babcock, made no excuses for his team's poor performance in last night's 6-1 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins.

"There's no reason for us to look the way we did last night," said Babcock at the post game press conference.

"They, (the Penguins), were way better than us," he said.

Pittsburgh's Dominic Kuhun scored two goals.

Kuhun finished the night with three points.

Dominic Kuhun had a three point night, (two goals, an assist).

Jake Guentzel, Evgeni Malkin, Jared McCann, and Brian Rust also scored for Pittsburgh.

Rust also had a three point night.

Jason Spezza scored the lone goal for the Leaf's.

Penguin's goalie, Tristian Jarry stopped 32 shots.

Toronto's goalie, Kasimir Kaskisuo also stopped 32 shots.

Toronto doesn't play until Tuesday night, where the Leafs head to Vegas to face the Golden Knights.
