Kane Does The Damage In Leaf's Loss

It is safe to say the Chicago Blackhawk's sniper Patrick Kane destroyed the Toronto Maple Leafs last night.

"We didn't start very good obviously, " said head Leaf's coach, Mike Babcock after the game.

"The first 10 minutes weren't good enough."

5:18 into the first period, Kane scored to put Chicago ahead 1-0.

Kirby Dach made it a 2-0 game at 12:00.

10 seconds later, Kane scored a again.

Kane had three points last night.

Patrick Kane had a three point night against the Leafs.

William Nylander put the Leafs on the scoreboard at 16:29.

Unfortunately for Toronto, Jonathan Toews scored Chicago fourth goal at 17:28.

There was no scoring in the second period.

2:27 into the third period Nylander scored again.

John Tavares made it a 4-3 game at 12:41.

Brandon Saad put the Blackhawks up by two goals again at 16:26.

Andreas Johnson added a goal at 19:18, but it wasn't' enough as Chicago walked away with the 5-4 victory.

Chicago's Alex DeBrincat had three assists.

Blackhawk's goalie, Robin Lehner, was busy, stopping 53 shots.

Auston Matthews had four assists.

Toronto is off for two days before heading to New York to face the Islanders on Wednesday night.
