Marner Injures Right Ankle In Leaf's Shoot Out Loss

Despite losing 3-2 in a shoot out to the Philadelphia Flyers last night, Toronto Maple Leaf's head coach, Mike Babcock, had nothing, but good things to say about the game.

"I actually thought it was a good hockey game," said Babcock at the post game press conference.

There was, however, a real bad thing that happened to the Leafs last night.

Mitch Marner injured his right ankle in the second period, went to the dressing room and didn't return.

A MRI on Marner's ankle is scheduled tomorrow.

There was no scoring in overtime.

Flyer's goalie, Brain Elliott, stopped 38 shots.

Toronto's Auston Matthews had two assists.
