No letting in weak goals as Andersen has been doing in the last two games.

Bellinger Breaks Out Of His Slump In 6-2 L.A. Win
Cody Bellinger broke out of his slump last night
Los Angeles Dodger's Cody Bellinger, was hitless in 13 at bats.
Until last night.

Darvish Leaves Game In Second Inning Of Game Three
(left) Yu Darvish didn't last two innings last night.
Game Three of this year's World Series is a game that Los Angeles Dodger's pitcher, Yu Darvish is going to want to forget.
He (Darvish) didn't even last two innings as the Houston Astros quickly went ahead 4-0.
First, Yuli Gurriel hit a solo home run.
Afterwards, Gurriel made a racist gesture.
Not too smart on Gurriel's part.
Marwin Gonzalez made it 2-0 by driving in Josh Reddick with a RBI single.
The Astros went up 3-0 when Brian McCann drove in Evan Gattis with a RBI single.
Gonzalez scored Houston's fourth run on a sacrifice fly by Alex Bregman and that was the end for Darvish.
Joc Pederson scored the Dodger's first run at the top of the third inning on a double play.
Reddick made it a 5-1 game in the bottom of the fifth inning by scoring on a throwing error.
Corey Pederson made it 5-2 Astros at the top of the sixth inning, scoring on a routine ground out by Yasiel Puig.

Preview: Flyers Verses Leafs
On paper, the Toronto Maple Leafs ought to win this game hands down.
The Philadelphia Flyers have a mediocre record of 5-5-0.
The Leafs overall record is 7-3-0, however, this isn't a guaranteed win for Toronto.
Remember what happened on Thursday night against the Carolina Hurricanes.
Leaf's veteran, James Van Riemsdyk is still day-to-day with an injury and there's a good possibility he won't play tonight.
This quite possibly won't be good for the Leafs.
Team's best players
PHI: Jakub Loracek - 14 points.
TOR: Auston Matthews -14 points.

Leafs Were Flat Against the Canes.
There's nothing to described last's night's Toronto Maple Leaf's game, but awful.
Yes. The Leafs were just plain awful against the Carolina Hurricanes, a mediocre team.
Toronto was absolutely flat.
I wonder if Leaf's head coach, Mike Babcock gave the team a bag skate today?
Toronto ended up losing 6-3.
Carolina's goalie Scott Darling was really good last night. He stopped 31 shots.
Despite the loss, Leaf's goalie, Frederick Andersen stopped 32 shots.
Carolina's Josh Joois scored two goals last night. His teammate, Teuvo Tevainen had three points in last night's game.
Toronto faces the Philadelphia Flyers tomorrow night.

Springer's 11th Inning Homer Ties Series
George Springer
Was that a game or what.
Game Two of the World Series last night is probably going to go down as a classic.
The Los Angeles Dodgers look as if the team was going to go up 2-0 in the series as L.A. went ahead in the bottom of the sixth inning 3-1.
Unfortunately, the Houston Astros made a comeback at the top of the eighth inning.
Carlos Carrea drove in Alex Bregman with a RBI single.
At the top of the ninth inning, Marwin Gonzalez tied the game 3-3 with a solo home run and push the game into extra innings.
That's when the fun started.
The Astros went ahead 5-3 at the top of the 10th inning with back to back home runs by Jose Altuve and Correa.
It seemed as if the Astros had the game in their control, but no.
Yasiel Puig hit a solo home run in the bottom of the 10th to make it 5-4.
Enrique Hernandez tied the game by driving in Logan Forsyth with a RBI single.
George Springer silenced the Dodgers fans at the top of the 11th inning with a two run homer.
The Dodgers got a run in the bottom of the (11th) inning, but that was it as Houston walked away with the 7-6 victory.
Astros starting pitcher, Justin Verlander gave up just two hits, three earned runs, two walks and struck out five batters in six innings pitched.
Dodger's starter, Rich Hill had a good night on the mound, despite pitching just four innings.
Hill gave up just three hits, an earned run, three walks and struck out seven batters.
Correa went three for six at the plate and collected two RBIs.
Preview: Hurricanes Verses Leafs.
All the Toronto Maple Leafs have to do tonight is play the way the team has been playing for the last nine games.
The Carolina Hurricanes are a mediocre team with a 3-3-1 overall record.
The Leafs are five games over .500 (7-2-0).
There's no question on whose the better team here.
The Hurricanes are probably going to have problems with Toronto's speed tonight, however, the Leafs still have to play to the full potential in order to win.
Jeff Skinner is the Cane's best player. He has five goals and an assist.
I feel that the Leafs are probably going to win by two goals or more.

Dodgers Take Game One Of The World Series
Los Angeles Dodger's starting pitcher, Clayton Kershaw, lived up to the hype last night.
Kershaw was fantastic in Game One of the World Series against the Houston Astros.
In seven innings pitched, Kershaw gave up just three hits, an earned run, no walks, and struck out 11 batters in a 3-1 Dodger's victory.
Kershaw's teammate, Justin Turner hit a tie breaking home run in the sixth inning.
Turner went 1 for 4 at the plate and collected two RBIs.
Game Two tonight has Justin Verlander (Hou) and Rich Hill (L.A.) on the mound.
Pedroia Out For Seven Months
Dustin Pedroia out for seven months
Things seem to be getting worse and worse for the Boston Red Sox.
First, the Sox were eliminated by the Houston Astros in this year's playoffs. Then, the club fired manager, John Farrell, and now the team has lost their best slugger.
Dustin Pedroia underwent knee surgery today to repair cartilage and is going to be out for seven months.
Word has it that Pedroia isn't going to back on the diamond until late May of 2018.
Pedroia was hampered by knee problems throughout the 2017 season, but still managed to play in 105 games.
This past season, Pedroia hit .293/.369/392, hit seven home runs, and had 19 doubles.
What's Wrong With Montreal?
What is wrong with the Montreal Canadians?
I'll tell you what's wrong.
Their three best players are not performing the way they're suppose to.
Both captain, Max Pacioretty and Alex Galchenyuk have just two goals. Also, both players have a plus-minus of -4.
Galchenyuk's struggles have prompted trade rumors involving him.
Then there's goalie, Carey Price.
Price isn't playing good at all.
Price's goals against average is over 3.00 (3.54) and his save percentage is .890. His record is 2-5-1.
Montreal is off to their worst starts in 75 years.
The Canadien's overall record is 2-6-1 and there seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel..
I strongly feel that trading P.K. Subban to the Nashvllie Predators for Shea Webber was a really bad move for the Canadiens.
The proof is in the pudding.
This season, Webber just has four points. Subban has eight.
Jonathan Drouin, who was acquired in the offseason, is doing okay. He has seven points.
Unfortunately, Drouin's teammates are not helping him.
It seems as if it is going to be a long season for Montreal and their fans.

World Series Starts Tonight
Tonight the night that all baseball fans been waiting for.
The World Series starts tonight.
The Houston Astros verses the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Predictions?
I'm not going to make a prediction.
Why?
It is because I'm usually wrong when I make a prediction.
I'll say this, though.
L.A. are hot right now and I won't be surprised if the Dodgers won it all.
Look how the Dodgers steamrolled over the Chicago Cubs.
This is the first World Series appearance for the Dodgers since 1988. L.A. won the 1988 World Series too.
Houston, however, is just as good a team.
Houston have a good shot at winning the title too if Jose Altuve does what he's capable of with his bat.
To me, the team that gets the breaks is probably the team that is going to win the title.
Leafs Go 7-2 After Defeating Kings
Man! I was right about last night.
I knew that last night's game, the Los Angeles Kings verses the Toronto Maple Leafs, was going to be decided by a goal.
Yes. The Leafs are now 7-2 on the season after defeating the 6-0-1 Kings 3-2 last night.
Both goalies were fantastic in net last night.
Toronto's Frederik Andersen stopped 36 shots.
L.A.'s Jonathan Quick was just as good in net, despite the loss. He stopped 30 shots.
Matt Martin opened the scoring for the Leafs at 5:46 of the first period.
There was no scoring until 14:44 of the second period when Tyler Bozak made it 2-0.
Almost a minute later, Adrian Kempe closed the gap to 2-1.
Patrick Marleau made it 3-1 Leafs at 2:54 of the third period.
Trevor Lewis scored at 12:19 of the (third) period to make it a 3-2 game.
Toronto, however, managed to hang on and win.
Lewis finished the game with two points.
Toronto's Mitch Marner had two assists in last night's game.
Toronto faces the Carolina Hurricanes on Thursday night.

Preview: Kings Verses Leafs
I'll be really surprise if this game wasn't decided by a goal or goes into overtime or a shoot-out.
Both the Los Angeles Kings and the Toronto Maple Leafs have similar overall records.
L.A. is 6-0-1. Toronto is 6-2-0.
Toronto is probably going to be out for revenge tonight because of what happened the last time the team faced L.A at the Air Canada Centre.
On November 8, 2016, the Kings hammered the Leafs 7-0.
There's no question that the Leafs don't want that to happen again tonight.
Anze Kopitar and Dustin Brown are the King's best players. The two players have 11 points.
Auston Matthews continues to be the Leaf's offensive hero. He has 12 points.

The Toronto Maple Leafs are going to try to increased their record to 7-1 tonight against the Ottawa Senators.
A win tonight is going to also give the Leafs their fourth straight victory.
Unfortunately, history is going against the Leafs.
Ottawa was 3-1-0 last year against the Leafs last season.
Kyle Turris is the Senators best player. He has eight points.
Meanwhile, Auston Matthews continues to provide the offense for Toronto. He has 10 points.

Leafs Are Now 6-1 After 6-3 Win Over Wings
(left) Curtis McElhinney had 30 saves in 6-3 win over the Red Wings.
The Toronto Maple Leafs are unbelievable this season.
With back up goalie, Curtis McElhinney in net for the Leafs last night, I really thought that Toronto was going to lose to the Detroit Red Wings.
Surprisingly, McElhinney was fantastic.
McElhinney stopped 30 shots last night.
It seems the Leafs have two solid goaltenders this year.
Good goaltending usually makes teams in the NHL successful.

Yankees Tie Series. Dodgers Take A 3-0 Stranglehold

Judge Shows His Stuff In 8-1 Yankee's Win
New York Yankee's rookie sensation, Aaron Judge has been struggling at the plate in this year's playoffs.
In fact, Judge has just five hits in 34 at-bats.
Last night, however, Judge showed the baseball world his remarkable skills as an outfielder.
Judge made two amazing catches in a 8-1 win over the Houston Astros in Game Three of the American League Championship Series.
The two catches were definitely the turning point of the game.
Judge also had a good night at the plate.

Also, Washington got hammered 8-2 on Saturday by the Philadelphia Flyers.
The Leafs, however, still have to play good tonight.
Washington has Alex Ovechkin, who is first in the NHL in goals scored with nine and has a total of 10 points.
Ovechkin, of course, is always a dangerous player when he's on the ice.
He's (Ovechkin) isn't the team's captain for nothing.
The Leafs also has to be aware of Ovechkin's teammate, T.J. Oshie. He has eight points this season.
What is even more troubling for the Leafs is that the team has surrendered 3.8 goals per game this season.
On the positive side, the Leafs has Auston Matthews.
Matthews is first on the team in points with eight.
Also, Leaf's veteran, James Van Riemsdyk has scored a goal in the last three games.
Overall, the Leafs have the advantage tonight, but just a little bit.

The Los Angeles Dodgers is ahead 2-0 in the National League Championship Series thanks to Justin Turner.
With two out, tied 1-1 in the bottom of the ninth inning, Turner hit a three run homer on a 1-0 count.

Hill gave up just three hits, an earned run, a walk, and struck out eight batters in five innings pitched.
Rodgers Suffers Injury: Probably Out For The Season
As you all know by now, Green Bay Packer's quarterback, Aaron Rodgers suffered a serious injury yesterday in a game against the Minnesota Vikings.
Rodgers suffered the injury after taking a hard tackle from Viking's linebacker, Anthony Barr.
Rodgers had to be helped off the field after the hit.
It has been confirmed today that Rodgers suffered a broken right collarbone and probably be out for the rest of the season.
This is not good for Green Bay.
Rodgers is amongst the best QBs. in the NFL.
Without Rodgers, it is going to make it harder for the Packers to clinch a postseason berth.

Matthews Ends Losing Streak At The Bell Centre With Overtime Goal
Auston Matthews scores the winner in O.T.
The Toronto Maple Leafs ended their 14 game losing streak at the Bell Centre in Montreal thanks to Auston Matthews.
Yes. Matthews did it again.
48 seconds into overtime, Matthews flipped the puck passed Montreal Canadien's goalie, Carey Price to give the Leafs the 4-3 win.
Things didn't start out good for the Leafs in the first period.
Montreal's Jeff Petry scored at 2:19 of the opening period to put his team ahead 1-0.
Thankfully, James Van Riemsdyk tied the game up at 7:32 of the first (period).
44 seconds later, Matthews put the Leaf's ahead 2-1.
Alex Galchenyuk, who has been struggling this season, tied the game before the period was over.
The Canadiens went ahead again at 11:33 of the second period with a goal by Jonathan Drouin.
The Leafs tied the game 3-3 before the end of the second period.
There was no scoring in the third period.
Matthews scored his second goal in O.T. to give the Leafs the victory.
Drouin ended the night with two points.
Toronto's goalie, Frederik Andersen stopped 31 shots last night.
Verlander Pitches A Gem In Game Two
(left) Justin Verlander had 13 strikeouts yesterday
There's no describing on what Houston Astro's pitcher, Justin Verlander did yesterday to the New York Yankees in Game Two of the American League Championship Series.
This man was just fantastic on the mound.
Verlander pitched all nine innings, giving up five hits, an earned run, a walk, and struck out an astonishing 13 batters.

What was also exiting is how the game ended.
Tied 1-1 in the bottom of the ninth inning, Carlos Correa hit a double into center field.
Jose Altuve raced around the base paths and scored the winning run.
Game One of the National League Championship Series was a different story.
The Los Angeles Dodgers continue their dominance in this year's playoffs by defeating the Chicago Cubs last night 5-2.
Dodger's Chris Taylor hit a tie breaking home run on a 1-0 count in the bottom of the sixth inning.
Taylor's teammate, Yasiel Puig hit a homer and had an RBI double in last night's game.
L.A.'s starting pitcher, Clayton Kershaw didn't dominate on the mound as he usually does, however, he still had a fairly good outing.
Kershaw gave up just four hits, two earned runs, a walk, and struck out four batters in five innings pitched.
Despite the loss, Cub's starter Jose Quintana, had a good quality outing on the mound yesterday, giving up just two hits, two earned runs, two walks, and struck out four batters in five innings pitched.

Astros Take Game One Of The ALCS
Man! I'm really impressed on how the Houston Astros are playing right now.
Their pitching is outstanding.
Despite winning 2-1 over the New York Yankees last night in Game One of the American League Championship Series, the Astros look as if they're capable of winning it all.
The Astros scored their two runs in the bottom of the fourth inning last night.
It stayed 2-0 until Yankee's Greg Bird hit a solo home run in the ninth inning.
The home run, however, did not rattle the Astros as the team hung on to win.
Preview: Leafs Verses Canadiens
The Toronto Maple Leafs are capable of defeating their rivals, the Montreal Canadiens tonight if the team takes advantage of their power play.
Toronto is second in the NHL in power play percentage with 33.3%
Also, the Canadiens are on a three game losing streak and their record is 1-3. Toronto's record is 3-1.
The problem with the Leafs tonight is their history at the Bell Centre in Montreal.
Montreal have defeated the Leafs 14 times in a row at home.

What Happens To Baker Now The Nationals Are Eliminated?
Today, I'm not going to full review last night's game.
Anybody that seen Game Five of the National League Divisional Series, (Chicago Cubs verses Washington Nationals), knows what happened.
The Nationals went ahead 4-1 in the bottom of the second inning.
Unfortunately, the Cubs battled back and won 9-8.
The question is now: What does the future holds for Nats. manager, Dusty Baker?
For the second straight year, Washington won their division and failed to make the National League Championship Series.
We've already seen manager, John Farrell fired by the Boston Red Sox two days ago because the team was eliminated quickly from the postseason after having a fantastic year on the diamond.
Is Baker going to be next?

Leafs Loses First Game 6-3 To Devils
It was no surprise to me that the Toronto Maple Leafs lost to the New Jersey Devils last night, especially when New Jersey's Miles Wood scored just 37 seconds after the Leafs went ahead 1-0 in the first period.
Things got worse for Toronto as the game progressed.
Down 3-2, in the second (period), on a two man advantage, the Leafs did the unthinkable. Toronto gave up a short-hand goal on a five on three.
Judging what I saw last night, the Leafs didn't deserve to win.
That being said, New Jersey have a good group of young guys on their team this year.
Wood and Pavel Zacha both scored two goals for the Devils last night.
As for the Devil's goalie, Corey Schneider. He was a brick wall in net last night. He stopped an amazing 47 shots last night.
The Leaf's next game is on Saturday against their rivals, the Montreal Canadiens
MLB Playoffs: Yanks Move On To ALCS
After being down 2-0 in the American League Divisional Series against the Cleveland Indians, the New York Yankees pulled off a comeback miracle and won the next three games to clinch a berth into the American League Championship Series.
Didi Gregorius homered twice off of Cleveland's starting pitcher, Corey Kluba, in a 5-2 Yankees victory last night.
With this loss, Cleveland's World Series drought increases to 69 years.
Gregoruis went three for four at the plate and collected three RBIs last night.
New York starter, C.C. Sabathia gave up five hits, two earned runs, no walks, and struck out nine batters in 4.1 innings.
The Yankees now face the Houston Astros in the ALCS, starting tomorrow night.
After postponing Game Four of the National League Divisional Series, (Chicago Cubs verses Washington Nationals), on Tuesday because of rain, the Nats. blanked the Cubs 5-0 yesterday to tie the series 2-2.
Trea Turner made it 1-0 Nationals by scoring on an error at the top of the third inning.
There was no scoring until the eighth inning when Michael Taylor hit a grand slam.
National's starter, Stephen Strasburgh was fantastic on the mound, giving up just three hits, no earned runs, two walks and striking out an astonishing 12 batters.

Preview: Devils Verses Leafs
Tonight's game is going to be the battle of the undefeated.
Both the New Jersey Devils and the Toronto Maple Leafs haven't lost a game this season.
That's about to end tonight.
The Leafs are 3-0-0 and the Devils are 2-0-0.
On paper, New Jersey has the advantaged over the Leafs.
The Devils have out scored their opponents 10-3.
Both teams, however, are tied in power play percentage (37.5).
Jesper Bratt is first on his team (Devils) in points with five.
Toronto's Auston Matthews is already proving to everybody that last year was not a fluke.
Matthews is also first on his team in points with five and it seems as if he's going for more as the season progresses.
Leaf's goalie, Frederik Andersen have won all three games and has a .949 save percentage.
Andersen is going up against Cory Schneider tonight. Schneider has a 1.50 goals against average and a .955 save percentage.
Boston Fire Farrell After Exiting Playoffs Early Again
After losing the American League Divisional Series for the second straight year, the Boston Red Sox have fired manager, John Farrell.
Farrell has been the Red Sox's manager for five years.
In his first year as manager (2013), Farrell managed the team to their eighth World Series title.
Since then, the Bosox won the American League East title two years in a row.
Unfortunately, both times, the team didn't get pass the ALDS.
The Houston Astros defeated the Red Sox 3-1 in the series this year.
During the five years with the Red Sox, Farrell had a win-loss record of 432-378.

Hyman Scores Two in Leafs Win Over Rangers
Zack Hyman scores two goals in the Leaf's 8-5 win over Rangers.
Two games into the National Hockey League 2017-18 season and the Toronto Maple Leafs have out scored their opponents 15-7.
It is not something the Leafs are not capable of doing, but the team is doing it.
Last's night's game against the New York Rangers wasn't as stellar as the Leaf's first game against the Winnipeg Jets.
The Leafs went ahead 5-1 in the first period.
Down 5-2 in the second period, the Rangers managed to score three goals to tie the game 5-5.
Third period goals by Tyler Bozak, Leo Komarov, and Nazem Kadri gave Toronto a 8-5 victory over the Rangers.
Toronto's Zack Hyman scored two goals during last night's game.
As for the Rangers, Mats Zuccarello had four points last night.
Toronto goalie, Frederick Andersen stopped 30 shots last night.
Nationals Make Huge Comeback To Win 6-3
After losing Game One of the National League Divisional Series, (NLDS), the Washington Nationals made a huge comeback in Game Two to tie the series 1-1.
Things didn't start out good for the Nationals as the Chicago Cubs went ahead 3-1 at the top of the fourth inning.
The score stayed 3-1 until the bottom of the eighth inning when National's slugger, Bryce Harper hit a two run homer to tie the game 3-3.
In the same inning, Ryan Zimmerman put the Nationals ahead for good with a three run homer to make it 6-3 Washington.
In the other NLDS, the Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Arizona Diamondbacks 8-5 to go ahead in the series 2-0.
Dodger's slugger, Yasiel Puig had three hits and drove in two runs.
Puig's teammate, Logan Forsythe also had three hits during the game.
Dodgers closer, Kenley Jansen picked up the save.
