Preview: Jays Verses Red Sox Game One


Tonight 7:10 p.m. EDT.

Fenway Park, Boston, MASS.

Tonight's Pitchers:

TOR: Trent Thornton - 3-6.

BOS: Rick Porcello - 6-7.

The Toronto Blue Jays kick off a four game series against the Boston Red Sox tonight.

This series does not fall in Toronto's favor.

The Blue Jays have a dismal 17-29 road record.

Thornton last faced the Red Sox on July 2.  Boston won 10-6.

What's worse, Thornton just lasted 2.2 innings in that game.

Porcello last face the Jays on June 23.  Jays won 6-1.

Rowdy Tellez has hit .750 off Porcello this season, (Note: Tellez has been sent down to Triple-A Buffalo.  See today's edition of News And Notes).

J.D. Martinez has hit .600 off of Thornton this season.
