Los Angeles Angel's pitcher, Tyler Skaggs, was found dead in his hotel room yesterday. He was just 27 years old.
The Baltimore Orioles have optioned Tom Eshelman to Triple-A Norfolk.
The New York Yankees have placed Luke Voit on the injured list after straining his abdomen.

The Toronto Maple Leafs made another big trade yesterday.
Toronto acquired Tyson Barrie, Alex Kerfoot, a 2020 sixth-round draft pick from the Colorado Avalanche for Nazem Kadri, Calle Rosen and a 2020 third-round pick.
The Carolina Hurricanes have re-signed Petr Mrazek to a two-year, $6.25 million contract extension.
The Chicago Blackhawks have signed Robin Lehner to a one-year, $5 million contract.
The New York Islanders have Semyon Varlamov to a four-year contract.
The Islanders also re-signed Anders Lee to a seven-year, $49 million contract extension.
The New York Rangers have signed Artemi Panarin to a seven-year, $81.5 million contract.
The San Jose Sharks have signed Dalton Prout and Jonny Bronzinki to one-year contracts.
Finally, the Arizona Coyotes have signed Lawson Crouse to a three-year contract. Financial terms were not disclosed.
