Jays Tame Tigers In 12-1 Romp

The Toronto Blue Jay's bats were smoking hot last night as the team hammered the Detroit Tigers 12-1.

Going into last night's game, baseball insiders were questioning Vladmir Guerrero's ability to play in the big leagues.  He has been struggling at the plate lately.

Last night, however, Vladdy silenced his critic by going three for five at the plate.  He also got a RBI.

Guerrero's teammate, Danny Jansen, finished the night with three RBIs.

Jay's starting pitcher, Marcus Stroman, had a good night on the mound.

Stroman went seven innings, giving up six hits, no earned runs, no walks, and struck out five batters.

Red Sox's JaCoby Jones went three for four at the plate.

Boston's starter, Jordan Zimmerman, had a really bad night on the mound.
