Jays Edge Yankees

Grichuk picked up two RBIs in win.

After losing 4-0 on Friday night, the Toronto Blue Jays edged the New York Yankees yesterday afternoon 2-1.

There was no scoring until the top of the sixth inning when Randal Grichuk hit a two run single.

Grichuk went two for four at the plate and collected two RBIs.

Unfortunately for the Blue Jays, their starting pitcher, Clayton Richard, was pulled after two innings because of an injury.

The Yankees got their lone run in the bottom of the ninth inning when Aaron Judge hit a RBI single.

Judge went four for five at the plate and had a RBI.

Yankee's starter, J.A. Happ, went 5.1 innings, giving up five hits, two earned runs, a walk, and struck out five batters.

Jay's relief pitcher,  Daniel Hudson, picked up his second save of the season.
