It seems that way in the National Basketball Association.
Insiders have been saying in the past year that LeBron James is calling the shots in the Los Angeles Lakers organization.
What LeBron wants, LeBron gets.
There's speculation out there that Kawhi Leonard pulled some strings before signing with the Los Angeles Clippers.
Word has it that Leonard contracted Oklahoma City Thunder's Paul George and convinced him to force a trade to go to the Clippers.
The same day the Clippers signed Leonard, the team acquired George.
Coincidence.
It is hard to say.
Kawhi Leonard.
The point I'm trying to make is if this is all true, it seems that NBA players are calling the shots.
This is not good for pro sports.
Having a player phoning another player to discuss business is ludicrous.
How long is going to take before other pro sports leagues follow suit?
Who's running the NBA anyway?
