Leafs Go 6-2 After Loss To Senators

Erik Karlsson got three assists last night in a Senator's 6-3 win over the Leafs.

The Ottawa Senators snapped the Toronto Maple Leaf's three game winning streak with a 6-3 victory last night at home.

Ottawa's defenseman, Erik Karlsson, whose just been activated from the injured reserve, got three assists last night.

Nate Thompson opened the scoring for Ottawa at 12:01 of the first period.

Toronto didn't get their first goal until 6:00 of the third period with a goal by James Van Riemsdyk.

Auston Matthews closed the gap 3-2 at 8:34 of the third period.

It seemed as if Toronto was going to make a comeback.

Unfortunately, seven seconds later, Mark Stone scored to put the Senators ahead 4-2.

William Nylander scored at 12:52 to make it 4-3, however, Ottawa scored two more goals in the third period to secure the victory.

Leaf's goalie, Frederik Andersen stopped 29 shots last night.

Leaf's defenseman, Ron Hainsey had three assists.

Both Stone and Derick Brassard had three points last night.

Ottawa's goalie, Craig Anderson stopped 28 shots in last night's game.
