Astros Up 3-2 In World Series After Winning Marathon
What is there to say about Game Five of the World Series?
Man! What a marathon.
The game started at 8 p.m. last night and didn't end until 1:30 a.m. this morning.
Alex Bregman drove in Derek Fisher with a RBI single in the bottom of the 10th inning to score the winning run for the Houston Astros.
Jose Altuve, Carlos Correa, Yuli Gurriel, George Springer, and Brian McCann all homered for Houston in the 13-12 Astro's victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers last night.
Cody Bellinger and Yasiel Puig homered for the Dodger's in last night's game.
Going into the ninth inning, Houston was ahead 12-9.
Puig hit a two-run homer at the top of the ninth inning to make it a 12-11 game.
Chris Taylor tied the game 12-12 by driving in Auston Barnes and pushed the game into extra innings.
Bellinger went two for five at the plate and collected four RBIs.
Altuve went three for five and also collected four RBIs.
Finally, Gurriel and Correa recorded three RBIs last night.
