After losing the American League Divisional Series for the second straight year, the Boston Red Sox have fired manager, John Farrell.
Farrell has been the Red Sox's manager for five years.
In his first year as manager (2013), Farrell managed the team to their eighth World Series title.
Since then, the Bosox won the American League East title two years in a row.
Unfortunately, both times, the team didn't get pass the ALDS.
The Houston Astros defeated the Red Sox 3-1 in the series this year.
During the five years with the Red Sox, Farrell had a win-loss record of 432-378.
