Rumor Mill: Cubs Seeking Darvish

Cubs are reportedly eying Yu Darvish, (left).

The question still remains.  Where is pitcher, Yu Davish going to end up next year?

Bruce Levine of CBS Chicago is reporting that the Chicago Cubs are pursuing the Japanese free agent.

For the Cubs wanting to sign Darvish makes sense.

The team is trying to fill the void in the rotation after losing John Lackey and Jake Arrieta to free agency.

As of now, Darvish is the top starter in the free agent market.

Levine is also reporting that Darvish has also met with the World Champions, Houston Astros and the Minnesota Twins.

Darvish has a career win-loss record of 56-42 with a 3.42 earned run average, (ERA.), and 11 strikeouts per nine innings.

In 2017, Darvish had a win-loss record of 10-12 with a 3.86 ERA.
