Minnesota Blanks Toronto. Preview: Leafs Verses Red Wings
It is safe to say that the Toronto Maple Leafs are going to be happy when Auston Matthews gets back from injury.
Last night, the Leafs were blanked 2-0 by the Minnesota Wild. It was Toronto's second straight loss.
Tyler Ennis opened the scoring at 18:06 of the first period.
There was no scoring in the second period.
Mikael Granlund secured the win for Minnesota by scoring at 8:06 of the third period.

The Leafs are going to try to stopped the mini losing skid tonight as the team takes on the Detroit Red Wings.
Almost everything is in Toronto's favor except goaltending.
The Leafs are going to have backup goalie, Curtis McElhinney in net.
On the positive side, Toronto has a 20-12-1 overall record and are 10-7-1 on the road.
Detroit is 11-13-7 overall and are 5-6-6 on home ice.
