Preview: Orioles Verses Blue Jays
Probable Pitcher:
BALT: Dylan Bundy - 6-9, 4.35 ERA., 113 Ks.
TOR: Sam Gaviglio - 2-3, 4.58 ERA., 53 Ks.
The Toronto Blue Jays kick off the second half of the 2018 season with a three game series against the Baltimore Orioles, starting tonight.
The Orioles start the second half of the season without their star slugger, Manny Machado.
Machado was traded two days ago to the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Toronto entered the All-Star break with two losses. Baltimore entered the break with two wins.
Despite Baltimore's two wins, both teams have really struggled this season.
The Orioles have the advantage in terms of tonight's pitching match up.
Dylan Bundy is 3-1 against the Blue Jays with a 1.17 earned run average (ERA.).
Toronto's starter, Sam Gaviglio, has never faced the Orioles in his Major League career.
What's even worse for Toronto is that outfielder, Keven Pillar, is out possibly for six weeks with a sternoclavicular joint injury.
Pillar suffered the injury, making a diving catch in the outfield on Saturday (July 14).
