After firing Antonio Conte yesterday, Chelsea FC of the English Premier Football, (soccer),League hired Maurizio Sarri as their new manager today.
Chelsea has signed Sarri to a three year contract.
Sarri is best known for his recent success with Italian soccer club, Napoli.
"Maurizio's Napoli side played some of the most exiting football in Europe, impressing with their attacking approach," said Chelsea's director, Marina Granovskaia.
Sarri managed Napoli from 2015-18, returning the team to the Champions League.
In 2016-17, Napoli scored 94 goals in the Italian league, Series A.
Sarri also won Coach Of The Year in 2017.
The down side to Sarri is that he has a history of clashing with team owners.
