"I thought it was a pretty even game," said Leaf's head coach, Sheldon Keefe after last night's game. "The scoreboard reflected that."
There was no scoring in the first period.
Derek Ryan scored the opening goal at 7:34 of the second period.
William Nylander scored the tying goal on the power play in the third period.
There was no scoring in overtime, however, there was some spectacular saves on both ends of the ice.
