Chris Archer (above) was traded to Pittsburgh yesterday.

Several players were on the move on Trade Deadline Day in Major League Baseball, however, there were two trades worth mentioning.

Two-time All-Star pitcher, Chris Archer was traded to the Pittsburgh Pirates from the Tampa Bay Rays.

In return, the Rays got outfielder, Austin Meadows, pitcher, Tyler Glasnow, two prospects, and a player to be named later.

Archer is 3-5 with a 4.31 earned run average (ERA.) in 17 starts this season.

Meadows, a first round pick in 2013,  has hit .292, has five home runs, and has 13 RBIs this year.

Glasnow hasn't had luck on his side.  He has struggled the past two years.

in 2017, Glasnow was 2-7 with a 7.69 ERA. in 15 games.

This year, playing out of the bullpen, Glasnow is 1-2 with a 4.34 ERA. in 34 appearances.
